What do I need to do to install okova on our website?
Place a single line of javascript code into the HTML of the pages you wish to activate.
What do visitors need for okova to work?
A browser with an installed Flash plugin greater than version 7.0 (on 99.1%+ of all computers), and javascript enabled.
Is there a risk to my visitors computer?
Okova is browser based, and is therefore restricted by the security framework of the browser itself. Unlike applications which have to be downloaded and installed, okova does not have the capacity to access a visitor's private files or network connections.
Is there a risk to my business infrastructure?
Okova provide a hosted service. Our servers are entirely isolated from your business infrastructure. Should you wish to enable WebDAV filesystem integration, you have full control to grant access rights.
Does okova conform to EU data protection laws?
Any information which can be used to identify a visitor is only stored with the visitor's permission, and even then, only stored on their machine under their control. The right to visitor privacy and security is paramount in building a trusted relationship, and Okova takes care to support this.
How long does it take to setup the service?
We aim to setup your dedicated streaming server within two working days.
